When I was 7 years old when our family bought our first computer, I remember seeing an ad on the internet that said, “Learn How To Become An Entrepreneur.” That planted a seed in me that one day I would eventually be an entrepreneur, and today I am grateful to say I have been building a work from anywhere business for over 8 years now. When I started earning more income part time from home than working full time at my job I decided to quit my job, and now I have been working from home full time for over 6 years. Not only has my business expanded to over 30 countries all over the world, and now I coach a handful of 6-figure earners, and have helped hundreds of people be able to quit their jobs to build a full time work from anywhere business.
Even though I saw that ad that inspired me to be an entrepreneur when I was a kid, it took me 15 years to figure out how to become one. During school growing up I didn’t know how to become an entrepreneur so right out of high school as I was influenced by the normality of society I decided to pursue a normal career. My grandfather was a fireman, so I thought to myself...
“Hey this can be a good career. I can stay in shape, impact some lives, and still provide a living for myself and my future family.”
So that’s that I did. I went to college and got my associates degree in fire technology, I went through a Fire Academy, and I also worked as an EMT in the 911 system for over 6 years. But what ended up happening was about 3 or 4 years into this I realized I couldn’t see myself doing that for the next 20 years of my life. I just wasn’t 100% satisfied with the career path I chose. I actually went through a period for about a year where I was depressed and I felt lost with where I was and where I was going in life. Now around this time is when someone introduced to me the life changing profession of being able to build a work from anywhere business. This was the biggest turning point in my entire life. It brought me back to the memory I had when I was a kid seeing that ad about being an entrepreneur.
From that day forward I committed myself to learning how to be an entrepreneur and building a successful work from anywhere business. I no longer had a cap on my dreams, my income, or even the people in my life. One of my first mentors told me the beautiful thing about this business is that my growth and success was completely up to me. He told me to figure out my vision and go after it. So it took about two years of me working part time on my work from anywhere business until I started earning more income than working full time at my job. At this point I quit my job, and committed fully to becoming the best version of myself so I can build my work from anywhere business to the best of my ability. Today this is what I do to impact the world.
Now this leads directly up to this moment in time and why I’m building The NetWorth Marketing Podcast & Community. I was thinking what is a resource that I would have wanted that I didn’t have when I first started my business. I wanted to have a resource that had every single topic I could think of to help me on my journey in one spot. I couldn’t find that resource so that inspired me to create it. And that’s why I created the podcast and community. I want this to be a resource for you to come and learn about all areas of building a successful work-from-anywhere business. Whether you’ve never started a work-from-anywhere business but you’ve thought about it, or you’re in the process of building a work-from-anywhere business right now, or you already have a successful work-from-anywhere business I believe our podcast and community is for you. We’ll be diving deep into personal development, mindset, the marketplace, social media, books, and so many other areas. And most importantly we’ll be interviewing and networking with thought leaders in their space who have built or are in the process of building successful work-from-anywhere businesses so we can learn from their experiences on what to do and what not to do in our own businesses and lives.
My vision for The NetWorth Marketing Podcast and Community is to create a community of thousands of like-minded people just like you who can come together and truly impact our world. I believe the best way for us to come together and impact as many people as possible is for us to be working closely together.
